Eat Breakfast Everyday to LOSE Weight

Eat a wholesome nutritious breakfast daily to get your metabolism fired up. Many people ask me how do I lose weight. I always suggest eating breakfast to help kick start your metabolism.

A nutritional breakfast should always include protein. I always suggest eating eggs. Eggs are incredibly nutritious and delicious. However, we don't always have the time to make eggs while we are rushing out the door in the mornings. This is when I would recommend preparing the night before or meal prepping for the week.

Have you ever heard of Mason Jar Omelets?

They make breakfast easy :)

Prepare them the night before and all you have to do is pop them in the microwave in the morning. My kids are a big fan of helping me prep them.

They add all the delicious ingredients they like:

  • peppers

  • chicken

  • ham

  • cheese

  • mushrooms

  • spinach

  • avocado

  • onion

  • and so much more :)

And if your really crunch of time, try making a smoothie. Yummy! Smoothies are delicious and easy to digest. You can Include:

  • fresh or frozen fruits

  • kale or spinach

  • protein powder

  • hemp hearts or chia seeds

  • nut milk

  • and whatever your heart desires

Blend together and ENJOY!

Another simple breakfast idea is to make a protein shake or a greens drink. My go-to greens drink is Active Greens' Daily Greens Boost or Biosteel's Greens Drink. Every day most people struggle to incorporate greens into their diet. Greens help regulate the digestive system, help promote better metabolism and naturally help with the detoxification process.

Having a well-balanced breakfast can help increase your metabolism while helping you burn more calories throughout the day. This is why everyone calls breakfast: "the most important meal of the day!"
