Updated: Dec 17, 2022

Do you enjoy coconut? coconut always reminds me of the beautiful tropics. These coconut balls are super easy to make. You can basically add whatever you desire in them. I love making these for parties, or as a quick snack for the kids 😉

Here a quick recipe makes about 20-25 Coconut Balls:

2 cups of dates

2 cup of shredded coconut (leave 1/2 cup to the side)

1/2 cup crushed cashews

1/4 cup almond butter

1/4 cup chocolate chips

  1. Soak dates for a few minutes in hot water. Then put them in a food processor until it becomes a paste.

  2. Add all the ingredients in a bowl and mix together.

  3. Now the fun part. Place some shredded coconut on plate. roll the mixture into little balls and coat it with coconut.

  4. Refrigerate for 1 hour.

And they are ready. YUM!

Did you know? 10 dates will give you about 3 mg of iron 💪

Remember not all sugars are equal. Always stick to natural sugars in such as fruit or dried fruit. Stay away from processed sugars such as candy or chocolate bars.

Dates are often used as a natural sweetener and also contain: ✔ niacin ✔ pantothenic acid ✔ potassium ✔ calcium ✔ magnesium ✔ iron
