In the spring of 2021 when my mother in law passed I took a good look at my own life. I was heading into a very unhealthy lifestyle pattern. I worked a lot and never slept enough. I ate too much and gained a lot of weight. This is when I reassessed my life, I was unsure what to do. I was in shock when my MIL passed. It was a big turning point in my life. I looked at my family, what really mattered to me was my family. I was not ready to go back to my job after taking some time to care for my MIL at the end of life. We kept her comfortable and wanted her to pass knowing that loved ones was all around her.
I started to write all my thoughts, feelings, emotions that I felt. Allowing myself to express my feelings made it more bearable for me to accept the loss of my dearest MIL.
Today, I want to dedicate this book to my MIL. A lady that I did not understand for the longest time. The way she spoke, the way she acted was not someone I found a connection with. Not until I started to go to doctor appointments and chemotherapy appointments with her, then I realized it was all from the goodness of her heart. Her big heart, made me fall in love with this lady even more.
Her passing allowed me to open up my heart and my mind. It allowed to become someone that I never thought was possible. I started to believe in myself and what I have to offer. This is when I started to write. With my writing, I started to develop a book. This book: Change Your Mindset - Smart People Don't Diet.
For 3 days my book will be available for download on Amazon for FREE. Please head over to Amazon and get your copy on June 9, 10, and 11.
